MiraCosta College Receives National Marketing Awards

MiraCosta Marketing teamMiraCosta College earned top honors from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, the largest organization in the world that represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.


MiraCosta College competed against more than 200 colleges that submitted more than 1,700 entries in the Paragon competition, and won the following:

“MiraCosta College’s commitment to institutional excellence and student success is apparent in all the work we produce,” said MiraCosta College Superintendent/President Dr. Francisco Rodriguez. “Our online and print publications effectively communicate information that is important to our students, staff and the community.”

Also at the conference, MiraCosta College’s interim director of public and governmental relations, marketing and communications Cheryl Broom was recognized as the District 6 Communicator of the Year, and presented a breakout session about her previous experience as a television news reporter.
