Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee
The Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee (EEOAC) is a MiraCosta College District Standing Committee created to assist the District to achieve understanding and support of equal opportunity policies and programs and to ensure the hiring process is conducted according to federal and state regulations.

- February 28, 102 - Film: "If These Halls Could Talk" 6:30-9:30 pm in gymnasium on Oceanside campus. An educational film by Director Lee Mun Wah, including cast member MiraCosta College graduate Jonathan Henderson. The film deals with college students and their perspectives on race and racism
- March 28, 2012 - 1-2:30 pm in Aztlan B. "Courageous Conversations" (first in a series) with Dr. Bruce Hoskins.
- March 28, 2012 - 8:30 am - 5 pm. Latino Education and Advocacy Days (LEAD) 3rd Annual Summit. Boardroom, Oceanside campus
Other 2012 college events of interest:
- Thursday, Feb 9 from 11 am to 3 pm. David Johnson photography exhibit. Kruglak Gallery, Oceanside campus. Johnson, who studied photography under Ansel Adams, has been documenting African American life for more than a half a century with his silver gelatin prints. Among his powerful images are scenes of the civil right movement, black celebrities and African Americans as they go about their everyday life. The first presentation will be at 11 am. Visitors will have another opportunity to hear the artist speak and ask the artist questions again at about 2 pm
