The mission of the Professional Development Program is to offer a comprehensive and systematic program of services and activities that will foster development of participants in the areas of staff, student, or instructional improvement. Workshop development, reflective of the vision of the faculty, is responsive to the needs of the faculty, administration, staff, and students and of the community at large.
The Professional Development Workshops are intended to provide a variety of development opportunities for classified employees throughout the academic year. Workshops are developed to meet the needs of staff in a variety of content areas, and are scheduled to accommodate employees at each district site. Staff may attend workshops during work time, but need to clear it with their supervisor first and make sure there is adequate coverage in their work area while attending workshops.
View updated offerings and sign up to attend workshops from the MyFlex website. Please sign up to attend workshops as far in advance as possible. In most cases, workshops with less than 5 attendees signed up the day before the workshop will be canceled.
