Behind the Wheel Training
How to Enroll
Pre-enrollment is required for both classroom Driver Education and the Behind-the-Wheel Driver Training program. Please call 760.795.6825 or 760.795.6820 for information. You are welcome to register over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard, register on-line (classes only), or come in person to the Community Services Office, Bldg. 1000, MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus.
Refund Policies
- Behind-the-Wheel Training: If a student needs to cancel, reschedule or is a “no show” for their behind-the-wheel training dates, a $30 rescheduling fee will be charged unless notice is received by our office staff 3 business days prior to their first driving dates.
- Classroom Driver Education: Refunds will be made three business days prior to the first class. If you do not call to cancel three business days ahead of time, you will need to re-pay the $88 classroom fee to re-register for the next Driver Education class. A processing fee of $10 will be charged for all refunds. Students cannot miss the first Driver Ed class.
Students taking advantage of our package deal will choose their dates for Behind-the-Wheel while taking classroom Driver Education. You must complete the Behind-the-Wheel Driver Training program phase of the program within one year of completing a classroom driver education session.
