CTE Transitions identifies high school courses comparable to MiraCosta College courses and creates articulation agreements between them. These agreements allow a student who receives a B or better in an articulated course at their high school to earn college credit at MiraCosta without paying any tuition or fees. Students complete a MiraCosta College application while in their high school class. The application is necessary for receiving their college credit. Credit is applied to the students' MiraCosta College transcript one semester after the student has finished the high school course. See the Consortium High Schools page to find out what articulated courses are available at your high school so that you can receive credit at MiraCosta College...for free!
CTE Transitions programs are funded by the California Department of Education, Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006.
