Drafting Students Win 10 Awards at 2007 SD Fair

Our students continued their strong performance in the "Drafting" division at the San Diego County Fair.  This year our students won 4 Best of Show and 5 Best of Class awards.  One of our students also won the Donate Industry Award, which features free SolidWorks software and a fee waiver for the SCA Exam at USC ($300 value).  Congratulations to all our winners!

Students Win Scholarships

Amanda Wynne and Victor Navez were both selected for $500 scholarships.  Amanda received her award from the Bakersfield Californian and Victor from the A.I.A. North County.

New Computers!

The CAD lab has brand new computers!  Equipped with hyper-threading Intel Pentium IV (3.2GHz) processors, a Gig of RAM, and large super crisp flat screen LCD monitors, students will be able to design more - faster!

Summer 2005 CAD Class

Learn AutoCAD 2005 in just 6 weeks! New computer workstations will be installed to run AutoCAD 2005. The course, DRAF 101, is required for 5 different certificates

DRAF 120, Manufacturing Processes

Course material has been completely revised since this class was last offered! Now included: new software, rapid prototyping equipment, application video clips, work-and project-based learning elements - Wed. 5:30-8:30 p.m.
