Instructor notes: NOTE: My "online" classes are not completely online; they are Hybrid. Any student enrolling in one of my online classes must come to the MiraCosta campus several times during the semester to take proctored quizzes and tests and have their notebooks checked. This may not be done at any other physical location or college or proctoring center. This is true for students living out of town, out of California, or out of the country as well. If you live out of town, do not take my section unless you can travel often to MiraCosta as required. Do not buy materials for class until you get info from me about which book or online materials will be required. More details will be provided by the first day of class. I will email students when the class is set up and ready to begin. Follow my directions once I send the info regarding what you must purchase and how to log in to the online materials, and begin working. Students will need to turn in assignments online in the online system provided, as well as bring notebooks to the Math Learning Center to be checked. Students should plan on dedicating a minimum of 12 hours a week to this course, and be able to get to campus for quizzes and tests, as well as for having notebooks checked.
