Instructor notes: Students enrolled in this online class are required to take proctored (paper-and-pencil) tests and the Final Exam on the MiraCosta campus or at an instructor-approved Testing Center at another community college. Before enrolling, please read the syllabus on my homepage at After you enroll in the class, you can find information in Blackboard about how to access MyMathLab, where you will find the required course materials. I will also email that information to you on December 31 and again the weekend before classes start. I will send the email to the email address that you use for SURF. MyMathLab will be available on December 31. All assignments (except for tests and exams) must be done online using the MyMathLab software. By the close of the first day of class (January 14, 2013), you must log onto MyMathLab AND complete the required orientation that you will find there or you will be dropped from the class and your place given to another student.
