Instructor notes: The course has two required exams that are taken at the Academic Proctoring Center, located on both the Oceanside and San Elijo MiraCosta campuses. If you live out of this area, then contact the Academic Proctoring Center and they will help you locate a proctor in your area. Please note that this is why the class is listed as Hybrid; the rest of the class is entirely online. Text information is available on SURF. To save money, look into renting and etexts. There are also copies of the text reserved at both campus libraries. I will open up Bb early Monday morning June 2. ATTN: This summer course covers a lot of material as we cover 2 chapters every 6 days. You can expect to spend at least 10-16 hours a week watching videos, participating in discussion boards, reading the textbook, taking quizzes, and completing paper assignments as well as studying for the two exams. Please be realistic about whether you have the time for this class this summer.
