In this program, we will encourage you to develop positive exercise habits that meet your needs. You will learn about your present level of fitness and effective strength training techniques and programs. We'll show you appropriate way to safely use our cardiovascular and resistance equipment. You will also learn how to build strength, lean muscle mass and tone specific areas using weight machines and free weights.
Register for a Wellness Center course first: KINE 100 Functional Resistance Training; KINE 141 Stabilization Training; KINE 143 Strength Endurance Training; KINE 144 Reactive Training. Note which class and section you are enrolled in so that you can arrive at the appropriate time and place. Your instructor will guide you through your preliminary paperwork, fitness assessments and exercise program. We look forward to working with you!
