MiraCosta College Students Encouraged to Participate in Survey

MiraCosta College students have a unique opportunity to participate in a survey about their media preferences and what they like to do with their time. The survey asks questions like, “what is your favorite radio station,” “what information do you look for in the newspaper,” and “how often do you go to a coffee house/shop.” These types of questions will provide critical information for marketing the college and its programs in a more cost-effective manner and assist in target recruitment efforts.

The survey results are more accurate if many students participate, so their input is vital. After completing the survey, those who took part will be directed to another website where they have a chance to win a $150 Amazon gift certificate.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to gather some very helpful information from MiraCosta College students that will assist with more effective marketing and future planning for the college,” says Cheryl Broom, Director of Public and Governmental Relations, Marketing and Communications.

The survey takes just 25-30 minutes and is available for a short time, February 10–March 21.. Students will be contacted via email and social media to be asked to participate in this voluntary and anonymous survey. Students can also participate by going to www.interactresearch.com/mp168. The password is 168114.
