MiraCosta College Foundation Receives Top Rating

The MiraCosta College Foundation is pleased to announce that it made GreatNonprofits’ 2012 Top-Rated List, earning consistently enthusiastic reviews and an average of five out of five stars. GreatNonprofits is the leading developer of tools that allow people to find, review, and share information about nonprofits, and it partners with GuideStar, the largest database of nonprofit organizations and granting entities in the nation.

The Top-Rated list is distributed to GreatNonprofits’ media partners such as Huffington Post and to corporate foundations. In addition, the MiraCosta College Foundation will be able to add a 2012 Top-Rated badge to its website, marketing materials, annual reports and grant proposals to demonstrate its credibility to donors and funders. This will enable the foundation to attract more philanthropic dollars, helping it to provide an increased level of support for students and the college.
