MiraCosta College Offers Noncredit Cisco Networking Academy and Other Noncredit Computer Classes
MiraCosta College is offering these tuition-free noncredit computer courses during spring semester:
The Cisco Networking Academy prepares students for computer industry certification and helps build skills and in-depth knowledge. The course is offered online with an on-campus class held approximately every other week. The program prepares students for the following certifications: Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Networking Professional Intermediate Level (CCNP), recertification, and Security+ and CCNA Security. Also offered will be free, noncredit PC-based computer courses, Classes meet for 8 weeks and include Computer Basics, Beginning Word, Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Essential Computer Skills. Previous computer experience is recommended, except for Computer Basics. Courses use Windows 7 and Office 2010. For more information, go to
