MiraCosta College to Host Stargazing Parties

Have you ever looked through a real telescope?  Are you interested in learning more about the stars and planets?  Do you want to see Saturn or Jupiter or watch a shooting star?  Then MiraCosta College’s Astronomy Program’s spring 2013 star parties are for you! 

MiraCosta College’s stargazing parties will take place 8-10 p.m. on the first Friday and Saturday of the month (February 1 & 2, March 1 & 2, April 5 & 6, May 3 & 4). The viewing will take place at the MiraCosta baseball field, weather permitting. The campus is located at 1 Barnard Drive in Oceanside. Parking is available along Barnard Drive and in lot 4C.
