My education plan is to transfer to either CSU San Marcos or UCSD and earn my Master’s Degree. When I was in High School I was involved in a nonprofit organization named Project REACH, it was an after school program that not only helped students with their academics but helped them stay off the streets and find healthy alternatives. On my free time, I love to go to the beach, hang out with my friends, go to my local youth group with my friends, or work out!

What I love about MiraCosta College: The thing I love about this college is the diversity! Though it is my first year here, I've came many times to check out the campus and have met several people who come from different backgrounds which I find amazing.

Studying: Graphic Design

Hi everyone my name is Samuel, but call me Bubbles. I consider myself a TV ad producer as I have a tremendous amount of experience from infomercials to company presentations and more. I was originally born in Aguascalientes, Mexico and moved to Vista, California when I was eight years old. In high school I started a video marketing business known as "SAKA productions" which ironically has changed my life. At first, I had difficulty accumulating clients, but months later my videos were selling like hot cakes; suddenly I had enough money to pay for my school activities and support my family with basic needs. As a result, I have learned to face new challenges in life, and my next challenge is to transfer to CSU Northridge or SDSU in order to become a Hollywood director or graphic designer. With either career, I want to represent my Mexican and American culture with pride. I see being part of the Student Ambassador family as an opportunity to improve my communication skills and spread the word about higher education. I believe higher education is for everyone!
