2. What high school, college, or community college volunteer positions have you held?
Currently, I serve as ASG's Vice President of Legislative Affairs. In this position I represent all 14,500 students (as delegate) during statewide conferences such as the General Assembly, where 113 community colleges come together to vote on resolutions which impact all colleges (including MCC) throughout the state.
3. What qualities do you possess that will make you a good leader?
I possess the best qualities such as "show, don't tell" and "actions speak louder than words." My qualities show through my achievements thus far, such as ASG Vice President of Legislative Affairs, I have a 3.9 GPA, I'm a part of the Honor's Program, I'm a Phi Theta Kappa member, I've been chosen to speak on 3 student panels and I'm grateful for each opportunity.
4. Do you have any prior student leadership experience? If so, please explain.
Yes, I do. I worked for a Consulting Company for 4 years, in which I had the rare opportunity to advocate for progressive economic legislation in the House of Congress, and also lobby in the state houses in Lasing, Michigan, Boston, Massachusetts and Sacramento, California.
