NEWS FROM ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (ASU)

With the end of the spring semester just a couple weeks away, the fall semester will be here before we know it. ASU is STILL accepting applications for fall 2013. Students who apply and are accepted can begin taking summer session courses at ASU, if they wish. ASU summer sessions begin May 20 and July 3. Fall classes start Aug. 22.

Recommended Class - Counseling 105 Transfer Success

Transfer students should consider taking COUN 105 – Transfer Success during their first term at MiraCosta College.  This one unit course covers transfer options to CSU, UC, private, and out of state schools.  Other topics include transfer admission guarantee (TAG) programs, honor scholar program, major and career exploration, how to pay for college, application deadlines, and GPA requirements.  Each student will complete an education plan and time line for transfer.
