Nancy Diaz |
Nancy Diaz is a MiraCosta College counselor available to assist with educational plans as well as general counseling. Her committment to helping veterans was sparked by her son's enlistment in the U.S. military. Nancy dedicates a number of hours specifically to providing counseling services to MiraCosta's veteran students. She is also the Veterans Club faculty advisor. |

You must visit the San Diego Veteran Affairs Regional Office (Address: 8310 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego 92108 Phone: 800.827.1000) to begin the process of authorization for rehab benifits. Form 1905 must be sent by the case manager to MiraCosta Veterans Education Office at:

If a veterans counselor is not available, and you need to speak with a counselor, you can schedule an appointment with a general counselor by calling (760) 795-6670. |

WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR COUNSELOR APPOINTMENT
The day of your counseling appointment with a veterans counselor go to the EOPS Office in Building 3000 to check in with the receptionist. Let the receptionist know that you are a Veteran and that you are checking-in for your veterans counseling appointment.
