credits now!? The process of applying to MiraCosta is the same for all three categories
of high school to college credit but the form and additional steps vary. Please start
by identifying which category below applies to your situation. As always we are available

Articulated High School Courses
Get credit for your high school courses
Articulated high school courses are courses that are taught at your high school by your high school teacher. MiraCosta has agreements with local high schools for specific courses called Articulation. If you follow the steps you can earn MiraCosta College credit for completing your high school class!
Concurrent (High School + College)
Get a jump start on College while in high school
As a high school student you have the ability to take MiraCosta College courses. Your high school may even give you credit towards your high school graduation requirements! These courses are taught by MiraCosta College faculty and will appear in the class schedule.
Dual Registration
MiraCosta classes offered through your high school
We have partnered with several local area high schools to offer MiraCosta courses you may be able to take as part of your regular high school class schedule. You will be earning credit for college classes and high school graduation requirements. Your high school counselor will have more information.
Adult High School
MiraCosta offers an Adult High School as an alternative or supplement to a traditional high school.
We offer an Adult High School at our Community Learning Center Campus. You can earn a high school diploma, or take classes at our Adult High School to count towards credit at the high school you are currently attending. Adult High School classes are listed in the Continuing Education class schedule.
