Upcoming Events and Information Sessions
- Transferring To A UC
This workshop is for all new students to start their UC TAP AND students transferring fall 2021. Learn about: UC TAP, new UC TAG rules, how to pay for UC Blue and Gold, and the personal insight questions for the UC application.
- UC/CSU Fall 2021 Application Webinars
The webinar will begin with a 20-minute presentation. The remaining time will an open lab for students to work on their application and ask questions. All students applying to transfer Fall 2021 are encouraged to sign up for as many application webinars as needed. Each workshop will be closed at 20 students.
- Transfer 101
Explore different transfer opportunities! Ideal for current MiraCosta students, faculty & staff, high school students & counselors, and curious parents who want to learn about: best techniques to secure acceptance, how to start/use UC transfer admission planner (TAP), resources for undocumented students and MiraCosta being a bridge to the college/university of your choice. Q/A safe for all questions. No appointment necessary.

Join your transfer specialist and discuss transfer support programs during this live event. Build community with other transfer students during lunch time and learn about different resources that can enhance your transfer experience.

- Men of Color in Higher Education
The goal is to cultivate a space for young men of color to thrive in education and their communities as they look to transfer. There are several barriers faced when navigating through education and life as a man of color. You're not alone and you do belong.

Q&A Fridays with the Transfer Center Director and Transfer Specialist - 15 minute quick questions will be offered on Friday via zoom 2pm-4:30pm.
