Academic Success and Equity (ASE) Programs intentionally center communities that have been historically marginalized in traditional higher education settings: students who are Black & African-American, Latinx & Chicanx, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander, former foster youth, and undocumented or mixed status.

As a community that deeply values and respects diversity, equity, and inclusion, we want to address the issue and provide you with resources that you may need. MiraCosta College is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students, employees, and community members. We take all such incidents seriously and will respond appropriately to reported or observed incidents of bias or hate.
- Health Services
Student Health Services has medical services, counseling, mental health services, workshops, information about individual and group support for students, and providing support for students from historically underrepresented and marginalized groups.
- History & Heritage Months
History and Heritage Months celebrate cultures, heritages, and histories to strengthen the MiraCosta College campus through engaging events and activities.
- Social Justice & Equity Center
The SJEC is a student-driven space inside the Student Center (building 3400 on the Oceanside Campus), where students can research, work, and organize around issues related to social justice and/or equity.
- Student Life & Leadership
The Student Life & Leadership Office is rich with activities, events, information, and serves as a campus information center, as well as focal points for service and leadership development programs.
