MiraCosta College is conducting the 2025-2026 Student Planner Design Challenge. Three winners will be selected, but only the 1st place one will appear on the 2025-2026 Student Planner cover. The Artwork Review Committee will announce and notify the three winners by May 30, 2025.
Criteria
Student designers, please use the following criteria for your design of just the cover of 2025-2026 Student Planner:
- Submissions must be original designs, created by the person submitting.
- Submissions will not be accepted that include:
- Photos taken by someone other than the submitter.
- Artwork and/or templates that were not created by the submitter (such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated, Canva templates, images or photos downloaded from a Google search, etc.). Other designs and photos may be used for inspiration, so long as your final design does not infringe on the rights of others and/or violate any copyright laws.
- File format: PDF only with bleeds and crop marks.
- Required Size: 5.5" wide x 8.5" high.
- The following must be integrated into your design:
- The words "2025-2026 Student Planner" or “25-26 Student Planner”.
- The MiraCosta College logo. Click here for the MiraCosta logo - then right click on the logo and save on your computer.
Submissions without the above criteria will not be forwarded to the Artwork Review Committee. For submission consideration, students must be actively enrolled in either noncredit or credit classes at MiraCosta College during the Spring 2025 Semester.
Submission Instructions
- Upload each of your designs by completing a separate 2025-2026 Student Planner Design Challenge submission form for each design at this link by 11:59 p.m. on May 5, 2024.
- You may enter as many times as you want.
- Note: Each artwork design requires a separate submission form.
- Please submit a PDF file with bleeds and crop marks that adheres to the criteria outlined above.
Consent
By submitting your design, you agree to allow MiraCosta College and its representatives to use and publish your artwork in promotional marketing and other publications in perpetuity. You also warrant that your design does not infringe on the rights of others and/or violate any copyright laws. You understand MiraCosta College reserves the right to amend the details, criteria, and instructions at any time.
