MiraCosta College wants you to achieve your educational goals and Spartan Prep is where you get started!
Spartan Prep gets you on the right track and keeps you going with the information you need to arrive at your educational destination. Spartan Prep includes two components:
- Online Orientation introduces you to terminology, academic programs, student services, and gives you the planning tools you'll need to succeed at MiraCosta College.
- First Semester Ed Plan is a self-guided tool that helps you select semester coursework that aligns with your educational goals.
When Should I Complete Spartan Prep?
Complete Spartan Prep after submitting an application to attend MiraCosta College and before registering for classes for the first time. If you cannot complete the process before registration, you may still register for classes for which you meet the prerequisites. However, we do encourage you to complete Spartan Prep before you register for your next semester.
