Please follow these steps to RESET YOUR STUDENT PASSWORD.
- Go to okta.miracosta.edu
- Select Need help signing in?
- Select Forgot password?
- Enter your MiraCosta Username.
- Select Reset via Email.
- Note: SMS or Voice Call can only be used if a mobile phone number has been configured when setting up the
respective MultiFactor Authentication.

- Check your email and follow the instructions to reset your password > select the Reset Password link.
- Create your new password, and select Reset Password.
- Verify with your configured Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) method by requesting the code.
- Enter the code > select Verify.
- In the OKTA Dashboard select the respective application to access.
