At the SURF home webpage, select the Log In tile.
- Enter your SURF ID and Password on the MiraCosta College Login prompt.
- Select the Sign In button.
At the Student Center screen, select the Financial Account tile.
On the left pane select Make a Payment.
- Note: the pay portal allows students to:
- Pay their tuition and registration fees.
- Purchase a Student ID Card (non-refundable fee).
- Purchase a Parking Permit (non-refundable fee) and registered their vehicle(s).
- Enroll in the Monthly Installment Payment Plan (Spring and Fall semesters only).
- Optional Fees: select Yes if you don't want to pay the $2 Student Representation Fee.
- Warning! Once you make a selection, you cannot revert the selection.
- Review your Balance due, and select Make a Payment to continue.
- If prompted to allow pop-up windows, select OK and continue.
- If a new window didn't opened, select Manage Pop-up Blocker to learn how.
- In the new Payment window, select the respective prompts to complete your transactions.
- Optional: here you may purchase your Spartan Pass ID Card a.k.a. Student ID Card.
- ID Cards are good for one semester only, and the $6 fee is non-refundable.
- Method of Payments Allowed:
- VISA, MC or Discover.
- Debit Card with the VISA/MC logo.
- Checking Account via ACH.
- Cash at the cashier's office only.
- Optional: here you may purchase your Spartan Pass ID Card a.k.a. Student ID Card.
- If prompted to allow pop-up windows, select OK and continue.
- Use your browser to print your receipt.
- If you purchased a Spartan Pass ID Card, take your receipt to bldg. 3400 to pick up your ID card. Bring a government picture ID to verify your identification.

- Purchase your Spartan Pass ID Card in SURF.
- SURF > Financial Account > Make a Payment > Make a Payment > Student ID Card.
- Submit your Spartan Pass ID Card online request at miracosta.edu/engage.
- Select SIGN IN > FORMS > Spartan Pass ID Card Request Form > START

HOW TO REQUEST A SPARTAN ID PASS CARD
- Your Spartan Pass ID Card will be MAILED to your current address on file in SURF.
- Select SIGN IN > FORMS > Spartan Pass ID Card Request Form > START
