The Communication Studies program provides students a theoretical and methodological foundation of the nature of communication in its various forms and contexts, as well as the uses, effects and relevancy of communication in their own lives. Students may prepare to transfer with a major in communication or take courses to meet general education requirements.

New program at the San Elijo Campus Beginning in Fall 2023
Focus and complete your transfer degree in just 22 months! Students will be part of a student community and will take 8-week classes, on-ground, in the fall and spring semesters at MiraCosta College, San Elijo Campus, plus two online classes in the summer. Space is limited, so inquire early!
