Main Student Software Applications
SURF is an Online Enrollment and Student Information Management portal that allows MiraCosta students and faculty to manage their academic activities.
Canvas is a learning management system designed to support MiraCosta's online courses. Canvas allows students to access class materials and faculty to manage their courses.
MiraCosta registered students have access to Microsoft 365 apps including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook (to access your MiraCosta email), OneDrive and more.
- Access Microsoft 365 - navigates to the Office 365 apps and the download page
- Microsoft 365 Tutorials - naviages to information on how to install and license the Office 365 software with your student MiraCosta account.
When prompted to sign in to Microsoft, use your MiraCosta student email address.
- Your student email address is your SURF ID followed by @student.miracosta.edu
- Example: w1234567@student.miracosta.edu
- Replace w1234567 with your own SURF ID.
