Placement
Adult High School
You can earn credit towards your Adult High School Diploma by submitting transcripts from any educational institutions you have previously attended. As part of the Adult High School Orientation, you will also be asked to complete a “Multiple Measures” form which asks about classes you may have already taken at other schools. Our counselors can work with you to decide which classes you need to take based on your academic background and personal goals.
Please send official copies of your transcripts directly to our Admissions and Records office:
- Electronically (this is the preferred method as it makes the process faster)
noncredit@miracosta.edu - By mail:
Attn: Noncredit Admissions and Records
MiraCosta College Community Learning Center - 1831 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA 92058
Once your official transcripts have been evaluated you will see them reflected in myEdPlan. You can also contact Admissions and Records at noncredit@miracosta.edu or 760-795-8710 six weeks after the request was made to follow up to see if they were received.
English as a Second Language
Please contact our Adult Education Office at adulted@miracosta.edu or 760.795.8736 to schedule a placement test, which will determine your ESL learning level. There are a variety of classes available to you depending upon your goals and needs.
Academic Counseling
It is highly recommended that you schedule a meeting with a Noncredit counselor prior to registering for classes. Your counselor will assist you in determining the most suitable courses to take and will aid in developing an educational plan aligned with your long-term educational and career objectives. Regular consultations with your counselor are essential to ensure you remain on course and receive access to any necessary resources or additional support.
