If You Need a Computer
Students can borrow a laptop and/or hotspot from the MiraCosta College Library by submitting a request through our Student Technology Request Form.
Students can also purchase a low-cost refurbished computer through San Diego Futures Foundation. Computers are given to eligible individuals who apply.
If You Need Assistance Getting Food
Students can access our campus food pantry daily Monday-Friday. Please visit the CARE page for location information and up-to-date hours operation. Students can also call 2-1-1 or visit https://my211.force.com/s/service-directory?code=BD or https://feedingsandiego.org/need-help/food-distributions for information about food distributions in their local community.
If You Are Undocumented and Need Support
UPRISE strives to make sure undocumented, DACAmented, and mix-status students at MiraCosta College feel safe and supported by providing access to immigration legal services, offering academic and mental health counseling, and connecting students to financial and academic resources.

If You Need Additional Help and Want To Talk To Someone from the CARE Office
The Campus Assessment, Resources and Education (CARE) Team is committed to taking a holistic approach to help our students succeed while addressing any challenges they may be experiencing to meet their basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, mental health, childcare, legal aid, etc. On-campus and off-campus resources are often provided to students to help meet their short-term and long-term needs with the goal of improving the outcomes of their academic and personal success.
