Aziz Refugee Scholarship
The Azizi Refugee Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has escaped conflict in their home country (refugee and/or asylum seeker). Priority is given to students involved in AMEMSA+ (Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim and South Asian) organization on campus.
- Enrolled in 6 or more units for spring 2026
- 2.0 GPA or higher

Community Service/Service Learning Scholarships
Students will complete one application to apply for both the Cal Cast Credit Union and Wilkinson Community Service Scholarships.
Cal Cast Credit Union Scholarship
For students involved with student leadership activities on campus and/or at a nonprofit or K-12 educational facility.
- Completed 12 or more units at MiraCosta College and enrolled in 9 units or more for spring 2026
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Must be U.S. citizen or a Permanent Resident
- Completed 25 hours of volunteer/service *(hours must be documented through the MiraCosta Service Learning & Volunteer Center and should be completed within the last year).
- A current Service Learning/Volunteer timecard must be uploaded to the application.
Wilkinson Scholarship
For students who have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service or 15 service learning (course-connected) at a nonprofit organization or a K-12 school that conforms to MiraCosta Service Learning standards.
- Completed 6 or more units at MiraCosta College and enrolled in 6 units for spring 2026
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Must have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service (not course-connected) or 15 service learning (course-connected) at a nonprofit organization or K-12 school that conforms to MiraCosta Service Learning standards *(service activities must be performed while the student is enrolled at MiraCosta College, and hours must be documented through the MiraCosta Service Learning and Volunteer Center)
- A current Service Learning/Volunteer timecard must be uploaded to the application.

Friends of Dance Scholarship
The Friends of Dance support students involved in promoting the dance program and have participated in dance activities at MiraCosta College.
- Completed 6 or more units in Dance with a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Majoring in dance, double-majoring in dance, or pursuing a dance certificate
- Enrolled in 6 units or more that include a dance class for spring 2026

Molly Martinek EOPS Scholarship
This scholarship supports current EOPS students.
- Enrolled in 6 units or more for spring 2026
- 2.0 GPA or higher

Native American and Alaskan Native (NDN) Intertribal Collective Scholarship
This scholarship supports students who have participated in advocacy within the Native Community.
- Enrolled in 6 units or more for spring 2026
- Priority consideration will be given to students who have participated in advocacy within the Native Community. For example, extracurricular activities, club involvement or leadership, or other lived experiences as a historically underserved student. Examples must be provided.

RAFFY Scholarship for Former Foster Youth
This scholarship supports former foster youth.
- Participating in the RAFFY program
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Completed 6 units or more at MiraCosta College and enrolled in 6 units or more for spring 2026

Safaralian Math Scholarship
This scholarship is for STEM majors who have completed two or more college-level math courses at MiraCosta College.
- STEM major
- Must have at least a "B" in every transfer-level math course at MiraCosta College
- 3.0 GPA or higher

There are multiple transfer scholarships available for students attending a four-year institution in fall 2026. Please see the requirements below. Students complete one application to apply for all of the transfer scholarships.

External Opportunities for MiraCosta Students
San Diego Foundation Common Scholarship Application
This scholarship is offered by the San Diego Foundation to new or current students attending community colleges and four-year universities. Graduating high school seniors can also apply. The Common Scholarship Application provides access to more than 130 scholarship opportunities ranging from $1,000 - $5,000.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Participation in community service, extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Current residence in San Diego County (for at least one year)
- Must complete a 2026-27 FAFSA or CA Dream Act (CADAA) *Required for all applicants. 2026-27 FAFSA & CADAA are open now.
Deadline: Wednesday, March 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. PST

Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship
This scholarship is for LVN or RN nursing students who will continue enrollment at MiraCosta College in fall 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a current student in the Nursing program at MiraCosta College
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average and a minimum 3.0 GPA in Nursing Classe
- Complete and include a Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Application
- Include an unofficial transcript from MiraCosta
- Include a list of three personal references and their contact information
- Include a Personal Statement using the following format:
- One page typed and double spaced (more than one page disqualifies the applicant).
- Place your name, college or university, and ID number in the top, left hand corner.
- Must include in your statement: personal background information, motivation, career goals, and financial need.
- Scholarship recipients will be invited to the Auxiliary Scholarship Awards Night held April 14, 2026 (tentative) at Tri-City Medical Center. Invitations will be sent with information.
