President
- Preside and lead all officer meetings
- Provide and present agendas at meetings
- Represent the Chapter at all events, conventions, and seminars
- Oversee the progress of all projects, events, and Hallmark entries
- Oversee and advise all Chapter officers
- Consult Chapter business with the advisors and College administration
- Report chapter activities, officers, members, and Five Star status to Regionals and Headquarters
Executive Vice President
- Oversee meetings, projects, and events in the President’s absence
- Plan and coordinate the Chapter’s Induction Ceremony
- Maintain and update the Chapter’s website
- Work with chapter president to report chapter activities, officers, members, and Five Star status to Regionals and Headquarters
Vice President of Records
- Record minutes at all officer and member meetings
- Read, circulate, and archive all meeting minutes
Vice President of Finance
- Receive, maintain, and oversee all the Chapter’s finances
- Maintain a record of all Chapter purchases, dues, and income
- Plan and oversee all fundraising based events and projects
- Record payments and attendance of new members for the Induction Ceremony
Vice President of Service
- Report the Chapter to Headquarters as a chapter of service
- Develop plans to promote and involve member participation
- Coordinate and plan community service projects and events
Vice President of Scholarships
- Plan, organize, and oversee the Honors in Action Topic
- Provide members with information on Chapter or College specific scholarships
- Inform members of PTK-related and transfer scholarships
- Plan and coordinate New Member Orientation
Vice President of Public Relations
- Draft the Chapter’s monthly newsletter
- Take pictures at all Chapter events
- Maintain all of Chapter's social media channels
Honors In Action Coordinator
- Work with Vice President of Scholarships to coordinate, organize, plan, and write
the Chapter's Honors in Action (HIA) project.
HIA combines academic research, problem solving, and action-oriented service to address real-world challenges in our communities. Students gain job-related experience while creating lasting impacts in their communities as they engage in HIA.
College Project Coordinator
- Work with Vice President of Service to coordinate, organize, and plan the Chapter’s
College Project
The purpose of the College Project is to strengthen your chapter's relationship with your college administration. The Chapter will serve as a resource to the administrators; the project itself should be selected by your college president or other leadership.
