How to Apply to the International Programs (F-1)
MiraCosta College will no longer admit international students under the age of 18 into its college programs.
How to Apply
November 15 for priority admission for Spring 2021.
If students complete additional classes after admission, a final transcript must be
received before the first day of class.
Step 1
Complete the International Student Application Form and submit to IIP@miracosta.edu
Step 2
Submit all supporting documents listed below.

IELTS score of 5.5 TOEFL score of 450 on the paper-based; test/133 on the computer-based test/ 46 on the iBT DuoLingo English Test score of 75 List of English language schools that meet English requirement |

Certificate of Financial Responsibility signed by sponsor. Attach an official bank statement showing a minimum of $24,000 USD. | Email to IIP@miracosta.edu |
Statement of purpose: 1 page essay explaining your education background and academic and career goals | Email to IIP@miracosta.edu |
If currently in the US: proof of immigration status and Transfer Clearance Form | Email to IIP@miracosta.edu |

Receive admission and SEVIS I-20.
Concurrent Enrollment without SEVIS I-20 Transfer
