Sumbit a Complete Application Packet
To be eligible for admission, you will need to complete all of the following documents:
Copy of the personal information page of your passport. Email copy of passport to email@example.com
Submit a copy of all your official school transcripts with Certified English translations. Screenshots are not accepted.
- High school or secondary school with proof of graduation (3 years)
- Colleges and Universities
- US and/or International, if attended
- MiraCosta accepts international transcripts that have been evaluated by an approved evaluation service accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). For more information, visit the Evaluations webpage.
Once admitted, you will need to provide original official transcripts from each school upon your arrival to campus. If students complete additional classes after admission, a final official transcript must be received before the first day of class.

Submit a valid English proficiency test result to email@example.com. A valid test result should not be older than 2-years from the date of an application
for admission. View a list of other accepted proof of English proficiency.
A minimum score on any of the following is required for admission:

Submit a Financial Sponsorship Form signed by sponsor.
Submit official bank letter or statement from you or your financial sponor* showing a minimum of $26,300 USD. Bank statements must be in English (funds do not have to be shown in USD) and show the issue date within the past 6 months of submission.
Forms not acceptable - Income statements, proof of mortgage, stocks, bonds, and investments.

Once we finalize the admission review process, you will receive an acceptance letter by email, which will includes next steps to prepare for enrollment and arrival.
If you have decided not to attend MiraCosta for the semester you applied for, you may defer your admission to a future semester by emailing email@example.com and indicate the semester you wish to attend.
If your application is incomplete, you will receive a follow-up email with a list of the required document(s). Please make every effort to email all required documents before the application deadline.
Concurrent Enrollment without SEVIS I-20 Transfer
