
Student Parent Resource Fair
The MiraCosta CARE (Campus Assessment, Resources & Education) Team, in partnership with the Student Parent Resource Fair Committee, invites you to the first ever Student Parent Resource Fair happening on Thursday, April 9th from 1:00-5:00pm at the Oceanside Campus Clock Tower!
Meet campus and community partners who will provide giveaways and information about student parent resources such as childcare, free family events, financial wellness, summer programs, diaper distributions, and more!
Food, snacks and children’s activities will be available for students and their families, and student attendees will also be eligible for free swag and multiple opportunity drawings (see below for details).
We highly encourage students, staff, and faculty to RSVP.

Transportation to/From Student Parent Resource Fair
If you are a student who typically attends classes at the CLC or San Elijo campuses and need transportation to the event at the Oceanside Campus, you can request from us either a 1-day bus pass or a $20 Uber voucher to use on the day of the event only.
The deadline to request transportation will be 04/03/26. You can access the request form here.
Information about opportunity drawing eligibility
All currently enrolled students who attend the fair will be entered for a chance to win a gift card valued at $50-$100 each for Amazon, groceries, or gas (30 gift cards available, recipients will be randomly selected).
Currently enrolled student parents who attend the fair AND have a child attending the MiraCosta Child Development Center will be “opportunity drawing eligible” to win a childcare voucher valued at $500 each (3 vouchers available, eligible recipients will be randomly selected).
Additionally, currently enrolled student parents with a child ages 6-17 will be “opportunity drawing eligible” to win a College for Kids voucher valued at $210 each (5 vouchers available, eligible recipients will be randomly selected).
Definition of a Student Parent
A student parent is “a student who has a child or children under 18 years of age who will receive more than half of their support from that student” (Ed Code Section 66025.81(b).
