CARE Free Food & Resource Market (Formerly Known As Farmer's Market)
In addition to the campus Food Pantry, MiraCosta College offers a free bi-monthly food distribution. This is a campus-wide collaboration with the San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego to provide access to FREE produce and dry goods. To access this service, students need their Spartan Pass or SURF ID number. The first food distribution for Fall 2023 will be on Tuesday, August 29th at the Oceanside Campus from 1:00pm-2:00pm. After this, the schedule for the remainder of Fall 2023 will generally be as follows: 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Oceanside Campus from 1:00pm-2:00pm and the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Community Learning Center from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Each campus will have a "Pop-up Pantry" if there is leftover food (while supplies last). "Pop-up Pantry" locations - Oceanside Campus: Food Pantry (OC 3306) and at the CLC Student Gathering Space - Student Services Building (CLC 300). Further details will be sent to all currently enrolled students via a campus-wide email leading up to each FREE food distribution event.

Food resources include programs like a client choice pantry, emergency food assistance, congregate meals, and more.
