There are many chances for more fun with math in competitions and events. Check out the pieces below: The "Let's Talk Math" group meets to talk about fun math, as well as have some fun competition as well. There is also an American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) competition that MCC participates in, and we enjoy local competition with Palomar and CSUSM during the HWY 78 event.

Each spring, teams from Palomar College, CSU-San Marcos, and MiraCosta College take
part in a friendly competition. There are multiple exams students can take, as well
as presentations or lectures from mathematicians at these schools.
2023 event is at Palomar College on March 4th (9am - 2pm): flyer(first 100 students to register get a free t-shirt and free lunch)
