Check out the math competitions and events below to challenge yourself and engage in the math community. The Let's Talk Math group meets regularly to discuss fun math topics and have some fun competition. If you are looking for a more official math competition, The HWY 78 Math Event and Competition hosts students from MiraCosta, Palomar, and CSUSM colleges every spring.

AMATYC Student Math League Competitions (Current Year)

Official time:October 30 (1:00-3:00pm in OCT307)... exam must be taken in person. 
Unofficial times:November 3-7 in-person only during specific TLC hours at SAN and OC campuses. NOTE: the times listed are the end times so be sure to start an hour before the ending time:

HWY 78 Math Event and Competition

Each spring, teams from Palomar College, CSU-San Marcos, and MiraCosta College take part in a friendly competition. There are multiple exams students can take, as well as  presentations or lectures from mathematicians at these schools.
