About the Student Accounts Office

The Student Accounts Office is located at Student Services Building 14, 1st Floor, Room 1455.

Paying Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees may be paid conveniently online through your SURF account. Please be mindful of your courses 10% drop date to receive a full refund for a course.

Holds and Drops for nonpayment will occur this Fall 2026. Please see the Holds / Drop for Non Payment FAQ page for more information.

If you are receiving financial aid, any remaining balance will be due after all aid has been applied. Full payment of tuition and fees is required prior to the start of each semester.

Payment plans may be available for the current term, depending on eligibility. Please note that tuition and fee amounts are subject to change.

Summer 2026 Payment Deadlines

May 4, 2026 - Summer payment plans open.
May 26, 2026 - Tuition payment deadline and Debt holds will be applied.
June 8, 2026 - Summer session begins
June 12, 2026 - 10% Add/Drop date for 8 week session. See Refund Policy page.
June 18, 2026 - 10% Add/Drop date for 6 week session. See Refund Policy page.

Fall 2026 Payment Deadlines

May 4, 2026 - Fall payment plans open.
August 4, 2026 - Tuition payment deadline. Drops for nonpayment occur at 11:00pm.
August 4, 2026 - Debt holds will be applied.
August 17, 2026 - Fall session begins.
August 28, 2026 - 10% Add/Drop date for 17 week session. See Refund Policy page.

Students check your class schedule or course syllabus for the Add/Drop (10% - last day to receive a refund), W (75%) deadline.

Are you a parent or guardian of a student at Mira Costa College?
The cashier's department cannot release student financial information to parents unless the student is present. For more information, please read our FERPA FAQs for parents.
