- A series of workshops that focus on preparing nursing students to take the ATI TEAS Exam.

- A tutor-facilitated group session where students bring/ask questions, work together, and prepare for each exam.

- Weekly sessions held with anatomy models available.
- Bio 230 (Microbiology) Group Study Sessions
- During fall and spring terms, a tutor facilitates weekly group study sessions.

- A tutor-facilitated group session where students bring/ask questions, work together, and prepare for each exam.

- Explore challenging problems and learn about math topics not traditionally taught in the classroom.

- First Friday Series
- A casual and 'nerdy' conversation about current science topics with STEM faculty. These workshops are held on the first Friday of the month.

- Biocom California Institute invites you to join our 6th annual Life Science Workforce Symposium this October hosted across the state in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego. This event is designed specifically for veterans and service members transitioning out of the military and underrepresented populations—including but not limited to college students, professionals and job seekers of all ages, backgrounds and educational attainment levels—who want to learn about opportunities in the life science industry.
- This free half-day event will feature:
- A panel of top industry representatives from the six main categories of life science companies providing overviews of how they contribute to the industry.
- An overview of the life science sector in California.
- Breakout sessions that will allow you to hear from HR professionals and top industry representatives in your area on how to transition into the industry, what companies are looking for, how to effectively tell your story, and identify what you can bring to this industry.

- The Community Health and STEM Fest was initially created during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 to provide access to health education, resources, and screenings as well as access to the COVID-19 vaccination. This program was created to support San Diego’s most vulnerable communities which included high risk populations such as ethnic minorities, low-income families, unemployed, immigrants, parents with young children, and COVID-19 impacted families. During our first year we served 400+ individuals through the support of community organizations and community health care workers.
