Clinical case management services are available in person, via zoom or by phone to currently enrolled students who are physically in the state of California. These services focus on collaborative planning and navigation to connect students to appropriate clinical and community resources to support their mental health and well-being. Additional resources can be found in the Health Services Referral List.
Our clinical case manager provides assessment, collaborative planning, resource coordination, and follow-up support. While not a substitute for mental health counseling, clinical case management can bridge you with the right services for your needs.
Connections may include:
- Crisis management resources
- Long-term mental health providers, psychiatry, and psychological evaluations
- Support groups and treatment programs
- Specialized services for disproportionately impacted student groups (e.g., BIPOC, LGBTQIA+)
- Medical insurance navigation (Medi-Cal, CoveredCA, commercial, international, etc.)
- Substance use treatment and recovery resources
- Navigating disability-related forms/benefits
- Basic needs support*
Sessions are 50 minutes for up to 6 sessions per semester and may be extended under extenuating circumstances.
*For additional basic needs support such as food, housing, legal aid, etc., please visit the Campus Assessment, Resources and Education (CARE) webpage to learn more about non-clinical case management services offered.
