Terrence is a Wisconsin native and Milwaukeean (GoPackGo and Fear the Deer). He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has more than 15 years experience working in higher education in residential education, leadership development, career services, and student accountability. Prior to joining MiraCosta College, Terrence worked at a couple different private institutions, including Saint Louis University, University of San Diego, University of Notre Dame, Stanford University, and Tufts University. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling. He also has a wonderful partner and two wildly entertaining intelligent rambunctious, beautifully fabulous children.
Colleen Maeder

Colleen is a born and raised New Yorker who loves living in beautiful sunny Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Le Moyne College in Sociology and her Master of Science in Community Counseling from Syracuse University. Colleen has over 16 years experience working in student services specializing in student well-being and behavioral interventions, crisis management, basic needs, student conduct and Title IX. Colleen has worked at both public and private university and colleges prior to coming to MiraCosta College. When she is not at work, Colleen enjoys yoga, running, hiking and traveling with her partner. A fun fact about Colleen is she ran in the 50th Anniversary of the New York City Marathon!
Raymond Wight

Raymond Wight is an oceanside native and MiraCosta Alumni pursuing a degree in psychology. His favorite thing about working with student services at MCC has been helping encourage students to pursue their professional goals through higher education thanks to the many resources and programs offered.
Michelle Halverson

Michelle is originally from Roseville, California a suburb near Sacramento. Michelle graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies with Distinction. Additionally, she is an alumna of San Diego State University where she received her Master of Arts in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with a Specialization in Student Affairs. Michelle has 10 years of experience collaborating with college students and advising student leaders and clubs. She is elated to have the opportunity to make an impact on the MiraCosta college community and create meaningful connections with students, faculty, and staff.
Ksenia Cavo

Ksenia grew up in Tirana, Albania and moved to the United States with her family when she was younger. Ksenia is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from California State University San Marcos. She began her professional experience at CSUSM and developed a passion for supporting student success and making sure everyone has an equitable space where they can feel at home and thrive. In her free time, she loves to try new experiences and adventures, she loves food, movies, reading, music & dancing, and spending time with the people that mean most to her.

Arelly is a proud alumna of MiraCosta College, where she earned her A.A. in Liberal Arts (Social and Behavioral Sciences) as a first-generation college student. By providing personal and individualized experiences for each student, Arelly's ultimate goal is to mitigate barriers for students with various intersecting identities and backgrounds. She also aims to create safe spaces for individuals navigating both community college and their personal life journeys.

Stephen is a first-generation college graduate who achieved his Bachelor's in psychology at San Diego State University. His passion in higher education stems from being involved with a variety of student organizations. He believes that everyone deserves equitable access to education and opportunities. A quote that Stephen lives by each day is "The impossible will always be possible" by Selena Quintanilla. On his free time, he loves anime/reality tv, trying new coffee places, and dancing.
Angeline Rojo

Angeline is born and raised in sunny San Diego. She began her educational journey at MiraCosta College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Sociology. Recently, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development, concentrating in Counseling Services. She is now taking the next step in advancing her studies and is working on obtaining a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling. Angeline has eight years of experience working in higher education, and has had the privilege of supporting students in different capacities. She was a Student Ambassador and a Campus Aide for Academic and Career Pathways at MiraCosta College, and was a Peer Advisor at CSUSM. Helping students navigate higher education and achieve their academic goals are what fulfills her the most. When Angeline is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, making a new craft, exploring coffee shops around San Diego County, or walking along the beach with her partner.
