The Testing Center at the Community Learning Center offers in-person proctoring services for other (non-MiraCosta) institutions.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm (lunch closure 12:30pm-1pm)

Exams are proctored by appointment only. No same day appointments available.

Per our policy, we need to have an exam for the student at our location before scheduling an appointment.

Are you currently taking a course for another college or university? The Testing Office provides in-person test proctoring services for $30 per exam. This fee is waived for military-affiliated students, with a valid military ID, as well as for students testing for another California Community College. 

Steps for students who need to take an in-person proctored exam for another school:

  1. Contact your college or university to inform them of your intention to have your exams proctored at MiraCosta College.
  2. Obtain any necessary forms from your institution for MiraCosta College to be approved as a proctoring site. Information that can be used to submit to your institution:

  3. Submit all exams, forms and directions to clctesting@miracosta.edu
  4. Once your exam and exam directions have been received by MiraCosta College, call 760.757.2121 x8841 or email clctesting@miracosta.edu to confirm receipt of exam information and to schedule an in-person appointment to take your exam. (Monday- Thursday 8am - 4:30pm)
  5. After the appointment has been scheduled you will receive an email with specific information related to your appointment.

Completed exams will be mailed out the next business day regardless of the return service.
